Great article, but.... how is it that you leave out THE most pertinent fact here? The FBI had the laptop for 10 months before the public became aware of it, knew it was authentic and extremely damaging to the Biden campaign, and buried it. That is our own Government - including all 51 signatories of the bogus Intel letter, all of whom knew the truth - interfering in an election, before our PRAVDA media busied itself with perpetrating the ruse. And no one is punished for this criminal abuse of power. Except for the American people who've had to endure the disastrous Biden Administration....

I don’t think anyone comes close to your lucid and systematic chronicling of what happened—and what mattered—in this story. Your reporting here is in a class by itself.

Raise your hand if, the first time you heard Jussie's story about being attacked by MAGA hat-wearers in downtown Chicago, you told yourself it didn't pass the smell test. But MSM was all over it like white on rice. And if you you questioned whether the story made sense, you were rayciss.

There have been dozens of stories like that, with the Hunter laptop story as Russian disinfo being one among many. The repair shop owner had the laptop, and turned it over to the FBI. He had a release w/ Hunter's signature. The FBI had the original laptop (not a copy), and had had it for over a year. If it really was Russian disinfo, the FBI should easily have been able to figure that out, and inform the public. But they remained silent, and their silence spoke loud and clear. And the media once again completely fell for it.

Are these MSM people really that stupid? Hard to believe, but... Maybe they're just pretending to be.

Either way, anybody with half a brain should pay them no mind.

Smart, stupid, it doesn't matter. Most of 'em have absolutely no scruples, ethics and moral beliefs and are willing to do whatever they are told in order to get ahead.

That infamous letter with 51 disgraced security official signees was a dead giveaway from the jump and media outlets were complicit to ignore it. It was phrased to avoid anything actionable when the truth came out. The HB laptop "appeared to be" "had all the hallmarks of" "looks to be" "consistent with" etc. etc. Even their denials/double-downs now: "Look, we never said it WAS Russian propaganda: Just that it LOOKED that way."

Excellent description of another malfeasance by the media and opposing party for our current time.

Mark Levin wrote 'Unfreedom Of The Press' that describes the same behavior of the same publications, less NPR, during the World Wars.

Levin also strongly supported Bush/Cheney and the Iraq War. 😝

Clapper and the others deserve jail time. They should be the ones hit with $100 million fines. If our country falls into civil war they will be in large part responsible.

Well done. My memory was roughly accurate, but not chronologically ordered nor well structured. Thank you. But you'll suffer for your good work. And I thank you for that as well. You're very exacting and factual representations will not travel well in circles that helps authors. A sort of inverse proportionality, if you will. They do not abide irrefutably accurate representations of themselves and their true positions. Beware- If they can "Get Trump" they can, most assuredly, get anyone they wish.

Great story and a terrific recap. Thank you. This continues because it's still being buried - Biden as VP didn't have the power to act on all those promises for cash. But Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama did.

Ummm - isnt he running again? Now that we know it isnt disinformation - shouldn't Biden be hurt by the truth that laptop shows he is corrupt? Why are we talking about the last election and how the 51 liars discredited the information and Joe got elected? We have a new election now and the facts are just as important. Is this a game we are playing? I dont get it.

MSM-this story is old news, we're not going to re-hash an old story from yrs ago. In other words, they'll bury it like it doesn't exsist.

I thought it has since been proven that when VP Biden went to Ukraine to insist that the Ukranian prosecutor be fired, that he did so at the behest of the US government, including some Republican senators. I think that's why it's not a story.

What you fail to acknowledge is that idea that, perhaps, evidence of “Joe Biden pressured Ukraine to fire a prosecutor” doesn’t exist on the laptop. It seems Hunter does have a laptop and it has info on it (pics, etc) … but as it is evidence, it can be reviewed by both sides and nothing was said about it. I would think if there was something disparaging to Biden, the House would be all over it … but they’re not. So while you recount many conspiracy theories about “the left wing media,” the basis of your stance is simply that there is evidence on that laptop because ONE media outlet said there was (and it STILL hasn’t come out.) When (if) it does, then I’ll be the first in line to say “that’s wrong and Biden needs to pay for it” … but … the “laptop” has been in Rep hands (Rudy Giuliani) before and could be again (easily) but nothing has ever been exposed.

The facts are - Hunter had a laptop; the DoJ has it; Congress can look at it; Giuliani had it (so he said); and the most pertinent fact is that no evidence was ever shown to exist. All that other stuff you’re spewing is pure speculation and supposition. Give me facts and so far the facts don’t support there was any coercion by Biden. I wish there were but there aren’t.

I can't believe Biden's admission is still up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXA--dj2-CY

And Mike Morell - the acting CIA director - was the man who set the gaslighting in motion with the '51 intelligence professionals'. He wanted to retain his job(power) and the money it entailed. Infuriating at best.

Great post and thanks for allowing comments. Found you at the CFP.

[The story] "should have been that the soon-to-be president, while he was vice president, pressured a foreign government to remove a prosecutor who was threatening his son’s professional interests, and did so after meeting with the people who were paying the son. It should have been about corruption and abuse of power."

Biden was President during a second suspicious removal of a prosecutor where there was either pressure from Biden to fire her, or else it was just one heck of a complete coincidence. Biden just happened to be in the Virgin Islands, when their Attorney General just happened to get fired (on New Year's Eve when everyone was distracted), for investigating connections to a man who just happened to 'commit suicide': Jeffrey Epstein.

Biden was staying at a private villa on an island owned by extremely wealthy donors. Hmmm ...
